Joining an experienced and expanding team of database administrators and engineers, you will be responsible for designing database components and applications that provide the backbone for applications and mail transport services
for one of the worlds leading email service providers.

Joining an experienced and expanding team of database administrators and engineers, you will be responsible for designing database components and applications that provide the backbone for applications and mail transport services
for one of the worlds leading email service providers.
Position Details:
Join a team of highly motivated Oracle DBAs and engineers
Oracle Database Maintenance and Administration
Database and Application Performance Tuning
Troubleshoot application problems and provide resolutions
Needs to be available for on-call support and carry a cell phone
Work on special projects as required
Provide DBA resource level support to Engineering projects
Position Experience:
BS/BA in Computer Science or related discipline required
3-5 years administration experience with large
multi-terabyte Oracle databases
multi-terabyte Oracle databases
Solid-to-Expert PL/SQL skills required
Solid Unix/Linux shell scripting skills required
Oracle 8i, 10g and RAC experience required
Database performance tuning
SQL query performance tuning
The ability to prioritize and multi-task
A firm understanding of internet concepts, systems and protocols
