Job Description
e-Dialog provides e-mail, database and interactive marketing services worldwide to clients such as the Dell, British Airways, Boots, Discover Card and Nintendo. The company’s services include strategic campaign planning and optimization, test design, creative development (including rich media), campaign execution, response management, web application development, research, and advanced analytics.

We are currently seeking a Marketing Analyst to join our Analysis and Strategy team.


Position Details:


Organize and perform campaign and database analyses and reporting for marketing optimization
Derive segments and direct user profile creation
Participate in managing market research-oriented surveys
Handle data gathering and measurement construction, test design, data organizing and cleansing, and analysis and presentation
Handle basic data reporting (counts, crosstabs) and basic statistical analysis as well as custom query analyses and some data mining
Design and write analytic presentations and recommendations
Contribute to overall strategic direction of client’s marketing
Be a knowledge expert in areas such as web analytics, survey and profile creation, utilization of metrics, segmentation, strategic database marketing, etc.
Collaborate with Client Services team to deliver weekly dashboard reporting and key insights
Be proactive in identifying trends within email marketing metrics and present opportunities to drive our client business
Influence data process and structure within analytic dependent systems at e-Dialog

Position Experience:


Strong analytical skills
Proficiency in MS Office, esp. Excel
Experience in SPSS (preferred) or other statistical software package (SAS, Splus, R, Stata, etc.)
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in database marketing, direct marketing, or marketing research
Knowledge of large, relational databases and SQL, especially Oracle
Strong oral and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree required. Marketing/marketing research concentration is strongly preferred. MBA a plus but not required
Experience in web development and/or programming a plus
Knowledge of CRM and email marketing strategies
