"I applied in June of 2007 for an internship position with the Analytics team at e-Dialog, and the
first thing I noticed when I came to e-Dialog for my interview left a lasting impression: people were wearing jeans
and sandals! I had been in the business world for over 10 years with several different companies, but this gave new meaning to the term, “Business Casual”!
I specifically remember that moment because it embodies the relaxed, flexible, employee-centric view that the
company adopts.
Yet despite the relaxed atmosphere, there was no lack of work to be done. I immediately began working a project
for a Fortune 500 client: there were no coffee-runs or staple pulling.

...on how to apply what I had learned in school. And with this increased knowledge came increased
responsibilities, duties, and challenges. The other members of the Analytics team were
patient at all times and made themselves available when I had questions or needed help. Although I was surprised when I was
unexpectedly offered a permanent position at the end of my internship, I had no hesitation about becoming an
“e-Dialog’er” and immediately accepted, despite waiting to hear about positions from two other companies.
All in all, my time as an intern at e-Dialog was a rewarding, challenging, and immensely valuable experience.
I believe I learned more in those three months than I had in the previous 18 months taking graduate courses,
and learned it from a proven leader in e-mail marketing".

"Last summer I had the wonderful experience of working at e-Dialog
as an
intern in the sales department. It was a truly valuable learning experience –
I gained real life experience not only in sales, but also
in marketing, business development
and the industry of
internet/e-commerce. My day to day tasks included: sitting in on numerous
sales calls, assisting the sales department and sitting
in on department/company meeting to name just a few.

I can say
with flying colors everyone was very friendly and I enjoyed coming to work every day. We even had
a softball team going during
the summer and although we only won one game, we sure did have
a ton of fun losing the rest!
Currently I am a senior at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute majoring
in Electronic Media Arts and Communications with a minor in marketing. Upon graduation in
May of this year I plan to enter the field
of marketing/design. The skills I learned at e-Dialog will travel with me not only throughout my career,
but throughout my life. Interning at
e-Dialog was a truly valuable experience. I would highly recommend
it to anyone interested".
